  1. You should add machinemuze's powersuites (https://github.com/MachineMuse/MachineMusePowersuits ) to the list of open source mods.

  2. Hi Wuppy! I have a question. When I made mods for 1.4.7, I made the packagesw in the src folder (not common) and they still worked. I am unable to make a package in common, because the only options are folder, file, etc. and I don't know what to do. Please help!

    1. No more making packages in common. All the code goes in src

    2. Ok, thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for.

    3. I still have all my code in .common, don't see why that wouldn't work?

    4. Server conflict (MP for example) and possibly missing Forge resources.

  3. Could you make a Tile Entitys tutorial please!

    1. Yes and yes, but it will take some time.

    2. thank you!! i've been trying to get some fence gate for like a week and i cannot get it... i'm actually planing to release my mod, May 14th...hopefully...or i'll have to hold back on the gates, and release that later...

    3. I don't think I will be able to make a tutorial on that before the 14th. For a fence gate I think you will need several metadatas. 2 for each way it can be. 1 closed 1 open. Then you need to set the model with an ISimpleBlockRenderingHandler.
When you right click the block the metadata should change into either open or closed.

  8. how do i remove vanilla recipes; from the mod, and not edit a base class? i heard it's been done...but the person on a forums where i read it, didn't give the code...

    1. I know it's possible, but I have no idea how to do it.

    2. I think you should make your mod a coremod.

      Verwijderen
    3. I found out how! now my mod is way easier to install, since now i can just put it in the mods folder, because i didn't edit a bass class. If you want the code, Wuppy, just say so!

    4. May I have the code please, if you don't mind?

      Verwijderen
    5. It would be nice if you can give us the code. It would be a lot easier than making your mod a coremod.

    6. I have it on my "Modding Tips" on Minecraft Forums... it's easier to understand there, than from a comment cause you can do that nice [code] thing.

    1. I will be doing a tutorial for nether and maybe also end ore generation next. Wheat and sugar cane isn't something I will do soon, but it really isn't that hard.

    2. Thanks for the tutorial about Nether ores generation ! But for sugar canes, I don't even know how to do.
